Oak Village's Mug
The moment you wrap your hands around it, the gentle warmth of this wooden mug naturally transfers to your palms. Made by generously carving out solid wood grown in Japan, it is finished by repeatedly hand-rubbing natural urushi lacquer into the grain. As you use it over time, the lacquer becomes more translucent, allowing the mug to age into a vintage texture that is uniquely your own.
Thanks to the excellent thermal insulation and heat retention of wood and urushi, the exterior remains comfortable to hold without getting too hot, even when filled with piping hot beverages, while keeping your drink warm for longer.
