Takada Kozo Shoten's Scrubbing Brush

The scrubbing brush made of hemp palm is characterized by its gentle texture and firmness. Scrubbing brushes which have moderate hardness and firmness, remove stains without scratching the surface of dishes and utensils.

It is also ideal for removing mud from vegetables. By gently scrubbing the surface of vegetables with the scrubbing brush dipped in water, only the mud can be removed, leaving the skins intact. Please use this for vegetables that you want to eat with the skin, such as burdock and potatoes.

Handcrafted by artisans from carefully selected hemp palm bark fibers, the scrubbing brush can also be used for daily body care.

Reviews

The items were packaged very well and arrived in excellent condition. Ordering was very easy and I am grateful the information was provided in multiple languages. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is exceptional; I can feel the thoughtfulness of the craftsperson when I use these items. The Oak Village tsumiki set has quickly become a favourite of both children and adults in our family. It appeals to all the senses and it is sustainably made and well crafted. The hagama rice pot produces the most delicious tasting rice, and thoughtful details like the tapered rim and water markers make it enjoyable to use. The design of the scrubbing brush is ingenious and so versatile in the kitchen! I am very glad I discovered this on your website as I have not seen a similar design in my country before. I am more than satisfied with everything I ordered. I very much enjoy your curated selection of handcrafted items, and I will visit again in the future. Thank you again for sharing these products outside of Japan.

I received both of my orders from Shokunin quickly and was very happy with the quality of all the products. I especially love all the products that I got from Azmaya, the cutting boards and the rice boxes, they are very well crafted and of good quality. I wish you had a bigger size for the Siwa laundry box, I like its texture and am looking for a bigger one. I find the Takada brush a bit rough on the skin, however it is very well made. I use Okubo utensils alot and they will be loved for a long time. I am looking forward to more quality items from Shokunin.

Everything arrived in good order as usual. I am very impressed by the Kiya sukiyaki pot and only wish I had bought it sooner as it is so versatile. The sasara brush does an excellent job of cleaning my cast iron wear without being harsh. I thought that the sasara would be similar to coconut brushes that I have bought elsewhere in the past, however, the sasara is vastly superior.

The bristles of the scrubbing brush fit well and comfortably into the corners of the cutting board as well. The inside of the earthenware pot can also be washed clean without scratching it. Sasara

The sarara is made of carefully selected high-quality hemp palms, processed into fibers, and carefully finished with a technique called "tsuzuri," in which a single stainless steel wire is used from the beginning to the end of the winding process. Unlike a scrubbing brush, in which each fiber acts as a point to scrape off dirt, the fibers of the "sasara" are bundled together to form a surface that removes dirt, so it can be used on Teflon-coated pans and pots without scratching them.

Size: About 25x110x25mm
Material: Palm (China), Stainless Steel

*Fiber powder may come out at the beginning of use.
*The shape and size may differ slightly.
