What is Takaoka copperware?
The production of Takaoka copperware started when Toshinaga Maeda, the feudal lord of Kaga Domain, gathered casting craftsmen to Takaoka town in 1611.
Takaoka copperware refers to copper wares that are created by pouring melted, high-temperature copper into a mold, and by molding and polishing.
95% of the copper wares, such as the bells at the temples, are made in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.
Nousaku products are made by the traditional technology, that has been nurtured in Toyama, Japan for 400 years.

Love a lot the products combine design and traditional handmade crafts' techniques so there's no dobut really feel happy ( a bit regret for not having been ordered the SIWA wallet together > <) P.S. Such a pitty that the store of NOUSAKU in Milan has been closed. Last time I bought a wind chime from them as a gift for my mother.
