Founded in 1794. Takada Town, Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture, is famous for its historical pottery production area, so much that it has its own name "Takada ware," within the group of Mino pottery. The seventh generation, Mr. Tomoya Kato, created a mortar with the ripple-comb pattern.
