Yamada Kogyosho's uchidashi-style iron pan efficiently transfers heat and is easy to grease, which are qualities obtained by hammering the iron plate several thousand times, making the iron molecules finer and improving the original quality of the material.

How to Season a Pan

Founded in 1957 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Yamada Kogyosho is the only manufacturer in Japan making iron pots through the hammering-out method, where craftsmen hammer an iron plate thousands of times as to form and shape. Hammered-out single-handled pot is popular by both amateur and professional users, so much that it is known as a representative product of Yamada Kogyosho.
